Microsoft Azure PowerShell is a scripting environment that you can use to control and automate the deployment and management of your workloads in Azure. This article describes how to use PowerShell to provision and manage Service Bus entities such as namespaces, queues, and Event Hubs using a local Azure PowerShell console. Prerequisites

Before you begin this article, you must have the following prerequisites:

Install and Review

Open the PowerShell and perform the following

# Install Azure Powershell
Install-Module Azure
 
# To make sure the Azure PowerShell module is available after you install
Get-Module -ListAvailable Azure*
 
# Sign into Azure
Login-AzureRmAccount
 
# To select a default subscription for your current session.
# This is useful when you have multiple subscriptions.
Get-AzureRmSubscription
    -SubscriptionName "your sub Id here" | Select-AzureRmSubscription
 
# View your current Azure PowerShell session context
Get-AzureRmContext
